Meet Lead Pastor Chris and Marlene

Chris and Marlene have been married for over 40 years and live here in Langdon.  Chris is our Lead Pastor and works out of the Church office at The Track Golf Course Clubhouse, stop by and say hello! Marlene works at Save On Foods and you can talk to her when you get your groceries. 

They have four children and their spouses, eleven grandchildren living in Alberta and Ontario.  Chris and Marlene enjoy camping, hikes in the mountains, walks and cycling around Langdon.  They look forward to meeting you at The Neighbourhood! 

I am Jason Taff the Youth and Children’s Pastor at Neighbourhood Alliance Church. I am super excited for what God is doing in Langdon with the Youth and Children. 

I love to learn, teach, preach, meet new people and get to know their stories. Which is why if you are new, I would love to get to know you too! 

In 2007, I set out in to be trained as a pastor. I began this journey at Alberta Bible College where I received my Bachelor of Sacred Literature. I felt the need to be more deeply trained and so I went to Ambrose Seminary where I received my Masters of Christian Studies in 2014, which really pushed my understanding of the scriptures and theology to a deeper level. I am happy to now to be serving the local Church.  

My wife is Elena Taff. We met and married in 2017. The two of us started a residential house painting company and God has used this to empower us financially wherever we move and wherever we do ministry.
